INTRODUCTION

Angga Hidayat is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at The Ohio State University, specializing in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Education. Throughout his doctoral program, he has been granted financial support from various sources, including the Fulbright Scholarship, The Ohio State University Fellowship, Harding Scholarship, and Lowry Harding Fellowship.

Prior to his doctoral studies, he obtained a master’s degree in mathematics education on a scholarship from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Indonesia. Furthermore, he holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics education. During his undergraduate years, he was the recipient of both the Indosat scholarship and the Improving Academic Achievement Scholarship, which was fully funded by Ministry of Education and Culture, Indonesia.

 

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

His research has yielded over 34 published works, with an h-index of at least 11, and these have been cited 311 times by other scholars. Additionally, he has actively shared his findings at various international conferences, including the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) in Los Angeles, USA; the North American Chapter of the International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education (PMENA) in Nashville, USA; the Education and Human Ecology (EHE) Research Forum in Columbus, USA; and the Mathematics and Mathematics Education International Conference (M2EIC) in Bandung, Indonesia.

In his academic capacity, he has contributed as a Reviewer for journals, including the Journal of Urban Mathematics Education (JUME) in the USA, as well as the Jurnal Ilmiah Matematika Realistik in Indonesia. Furthermore, he serves as an Editor for the Gammath: Jurnal Ilmiah Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika, an Indonesian publication.
