Dr Muhammad Fazal Hussain Qureshi is a medical doctor by profession and completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Ziauddin University, Karachi. He also completed a diploma in Family Medicine from Aga Khan University and is currently working towards a master’s in Public Health and Public Policy.

Dr. Fazal has more than 25 publications in National and International Journals. He has presented his work in various national and international conferences and have been recognized as an outstanding researcher by Aga Khan University, Liaquat National University and Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre on his extensive research in the field of Psychiatry (Stress and Anxiety among students, doctors and postgraduates). Other than Psychiatry he has several research papers related to the fields of Public Health, Oncology, Social Sciences and Molecular Biology.

He is among one of the few researchers from around the World who has been awarded ‘Walton Sustainability Solution Award’ by Arizona State University for his work in creation, design and development of innovative solutions that directly address our planet’s sustainability challenges. In 2022 he represented Pakistan in OIC Youth Congress in Kazan, Russia and won the best researcher award.

Moreover, he previously also worked as an Associate Editor for Journal of Asian Medical Student Association (JAMSA). He facilitated various training workshops on research methodology and data analysis. Through his tenure at Youth Center for Research he has mentored the youth from around the globe and collaborated on various projects.
