Simran is a research enthusiast, who is passionate to work on issues related to gender, identities, violence, exploration and occupation of spaces, etc. With a lot of field experience at hand, Simran has indulged simultaneously with critical analysis of the world around oneself and has ensured that their writing expresses the same.

They hold a Master’s in Social Work with a specialization in Criminology and Justice from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, India. They wish to continue working in the social sector and playing the role they can play to be a tiny part of bigger changes. They believe in art, in compassion, in kindness, and in belongingness, and they wish for their work and their life to reflect the same.
